Rebuilding Together is the nation's largest volunteer home repair organization in the country. Across Orange County, Rebuilding Together is dramatically changing neighborhoods and lives by helping deserving homeowners live independently in comfort and safety. Rebuilding Together provides home repair and modification services to low-income homeowner-residents throughout Orange County.

Southern California has over a million households with persons 65 years of age or older. Falls are a major source of injury and hospitalization for seniors. Approximately 78 percent of all falls occur in or around the home, and for seniors, falls are the number one cause of injury-related death. Home safety repairs and minor modifications can prevent many falls, but elderly homeowners often cannot afford fixing the deteriorating and unsafe conditions in their homes.

Rebuilding Together is dedicated to decreasing those statistics through home repairs and modifications performed by community volunteers, corporations, civic and faith groups and many more. Rebuilding Together Orange County and it's affiliates in southern California are improving the safety, health, and quality of life for low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners across our region. Since 1991, RT groups have organized over 36,000 volunteers to repair more than 2000 homes of low-income families, all at no cost to the resident homeowners

Rebuilding Together affiliates in southern California operate cooperatively under the umbrella of RT SoCal and ultimately report to the Rebuilding Together national office in Washington, DC. Our national office provides support through partnerships with major donors and assists with affiliate needs as requested.
